When Marty works during the day on Sundays, I love to spend all day in the kitchen. Last weekend, I decided to make a pot roast, and for dessert- shortcakes! As I have stated before, I am not a baker, but these turns out amazing!

| Gorgeous strawberries, rinsed off! |

| Quarter the strawberries and add sugar. |

| Sift the dry ingredients. |

| Mix the wet and dry ingredients. Very stick dough! |

| The shortcake right out of the oven! |

| Just mixin' the whipped cream. It was soooo YUMMY with vanilla and lemon zest. |

| It is finished when little peaks form. |

you have always taken amazing pics miss molly but i think they are even getting better! great photos!! yum yum!
