First Stop...Magic Kingdom!

The happiest place on earth!

Haunted Mansion

We got a tad bit wet on Splash Mountain!
Travel Tips:

- If you plan on going to the Magic Kingdom on your first day at the beginning of the week, be prepared that everyone else and their kids will be there too!  Plan for LOTS of strollers!!

- The gates close depending on the time of the year you are there.  The Magic Kingdom gates didn't close until 1:00AM when we were there.  We thought this would filter out the young kids, thus resulting in short lines, but we were WRONG!  The park was almost more crowded around midnight!

- If you plan to use fast passes, be sure and get your first one right when you get there for the most popular rides (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain...). You can only use 1 pass within 1 hour, so if you have people with you that can't ride any of those rides, send them to get you fast passes while you are standing in a long line!

- If you arrive at the park in the afternoon, be prepared for super duper long lines and fast passes not being available until late evening, if that at all.

- All of the casual eateries (burgers, chicken nuggets, fish...) are the same burgers, chicken nuggets and fish at all of the parks (just with different names :).  To change it up, eat at some sit-down restaurants!

- Unless you leave the park between lets say, 2:00PM-4:00PM, be prepared for very crowded monorail lines & rides.  At the Magic Kingdom, you have to either take the monorail or the ferry back to the parking lots, so think about taking the ferry (even if the line looks longer).  Oh, and we managed to pretend like we were with a big stroller group, which got us on faster aboard the ferry!
