Snap the ends off the beans. |
Place in water and bring to a boil. |
Zest 2 lemons. |
That is a lot of yummy zest. |
Peel and chop up 3 apples- removing the core of course :) |
Apples in about 1 inch cubes. |
Save the lemons because you will need the juice. |
Melt some butter.... |
Add the apples. |
Rub the lemon zest all over the pork tenderloin. |
Add some honey to the apples. |
Saute until golden brown. |
Saute the loin... |
...until brown on all sides. |
Drain the green beans. |
In a small skillet, lightly toast the sesame seeds over a very low heat. Don't burn them! |
Add some oil to a skillet and lightly saute some red pepper flakes. |
Add the sesame seeds and the beans. |
Mash up the apples. If you like it chunky, don't mash too much :) P.S.- this potato masher is from Williams Sonoma and is an amazing little tool! |
